The Blogger Recognition Award from Ami

Ami from UndercoverSuperhero has nominated me for this Recognition Award, so thank you very much to her for that and sorry in the delay in posting this. She’s a brave and courageous girl learning to walk again and using her blog as a platform to share her struggle with others.

  • Thank the blogger(s) for nominating you and give the link to their blog!
  • Write a post on your site displaying the award that describes why you started your blog

Why did I Start my Blog?

This blog was started, because in early January of 2019 I hurt myself pretty bad, herniating a disc in my neck. I was working a job with steel at the time (and hated it), but I needed to take some time off of work because of it. While I was off, I decided that I didn’t want to have to rely on that job that I never cared about anymore. Especially not with this weakness in my neck. So, I applied to a local University for a Bachelors of English degree program and I began to write my blog as a hobby to brush up on my writing in the mean time. Oh, and also because I just love writing. It’s fun, right???

In my own time, I’m kind of an introverted guy and I’m in an area where I don’t have a lot of friends around me. So, the community feeling has been really inspiring as well, and it’s been a pleasure of mine to meet so many great people with similar ambitions here.

*cough* Novel writers *cough*

(Speaking of which, I should start working on that again)

(Kristian is a very friendly and supportive blogger, plus she posts good tunes sometimes! Listening to her latest post right now actually. “Life is beauutttiful”)

(Tom’s a talented writer and a friendly blogger that I’ve recently been interacting with)

(Jyoti is a young blogger with a great energy and she’s a very supportive part of the community)

(Smiles and cheer radiate from this one!)

(Pallavi was one of the few bloggers that I followed religiously in my early days, and I have the pleasure of still reading her posts when she’s active :D. They’re very engaging, honest and fun)

I honestly, I could keep going, because I know so many of you are wonderful bloggers deserving of recognition, but I’ll just leave it at that.
